White countertops look incredible. They also show everything. Here’s what to actually expect.
Will it stain? Depends on the material. White quartz is non-porous and stain resistant. White marble stains and etches. Same color, very different surface.
Will it show dirt? More than a dark countertop. Coffee rings and water spots are visible faster. The upside is you clean more regularly.
Is it hard to maintain? Quartz needs almost nothing. Granite needs sealing once a year. Marble needs the most attention. Pick the material that matches how you actually cook.
